What bad things happened today? I lost the first version of this post. My favourite squidgy 'stress ball' toy burst, oozing green goo. My spider plant was covered in black aphid.
What good things happened today? The green goo from inside my squidgy stress ball toy is awesome, and a piece of it turned out to be the ideal thing for removing black aphid from a spider plant. Random was cheery company, and reacted in a pleasantly horrified way to my green-goo-inna-glass. I washed an 'extra' load of clothes, leaving me a lot more choice of what to wear.

Before I got to this bit, I was going to suggest a spray bottle of washing up liquid solution, which is what I use for aphids on the allotment if there are too many for the ladybirds to keep under control.
