Did I tidy my room? YES! I nearly hoovered it, but ducked out at the last minute. Still, it's much more presentable now.
Did I go to bed early last night? YES! At least, I was late logging off, but I was in bed with the lights out at 11pm.
Did I take my nighttime anti-migraine pills? YES!
Did I do my dawn walk? NO! I could have, I woke up early enough, but I was getting warning fluey aches and took it easy. Instead, I had porridge with dried red cherries, flaked almonds and sugar.
What's the weather like? Mizzly.
Did I wash and get dressed in nice clothes? YES! Well, not very nice clothes, but still reasonable. This shirt I am wearing is dead, though.
Did I do relaxation after breakfast? YES! I was very good. I realised I was all abuzz and made myself lie down and chill for a while.
Did I go out somewhere else too? NO! Today was, quite deliberately, a stay-in day, unless a walk down to see if they'd emptied the bins counts. I played Pharaoh instead. Wednesdays is when the cleaner comes, so I tend to hide in my room and let her get on with it. It's wonderful on weeks like last week when I was knackered and I came down and all the housework was *done* (and Random had made me the best ham sandwich ever).
Did I cook? YES! Yesterday I roast then casseroled some oxtail, today I stewed it with carrots and mushrooms and garlic, took the tail out, skimmed the broth, blitzed the veggies, herbed it up and roasted the tail again for added flavour since I didn't roast it enough yesterday. The result is a thick soup with bits of beef in it. I tried to make it Pol-friendly, but he didn't like it. I'm glad he tried it, though.
Did I take my post-breakfast anti-migraine pills? YES!
Did I do anything energetic? YES! The cooking was all on my feet. I did a load of laundry and put a load away. I played with the cat.
Did I use my brain? YES! I did my OU work, defining poetry this morning. I didn't do anything extra, although I did have a conversation with my sister-with-the-new-baby. I also socialised with Rob and Angela, who came over and were really good company. They didn't want the oxtail soup either. But Sessifet did!
Happy things: Sessifet seems to be enjoying my oxtail soup, and I definitely am. I have some of her Turban Squash Soup for lunch tomorrow. I got to show off my gory arm to someone else. The house is clean and I didn't have to do anything to make it happen (to be fair, I did very little last week, being ill, and everything still got done; it's just more noticeable on Wednesdays). I realised today how much warmer this house is than our old one in Tonge Moor.
HEALTH
Did I take painkillers? NO! Not all day! I've only just realised that. I was going to take some while waiting for the cleaner and forgot. Relaxation undoubtedly helped.
Did I have a migraine? YES! This morning. It cleared up. I have a new one brewing, but it's not yet here, so I can take drugs before I sleep and it won't be an issue.
Do I feel MEish? YES! A bit, with stiff joints and a bit of a sore neck and throat, but nothing awful. I have been on my feet for hours and this was my 'lazy' day!
How are my sinuses? Cruddy.
Did I sleep well? YES! I have no memory of anything between putting the light out before midnight and waking up at 5am.
PLANS
Thursday is apparently my day for meal planning and supermarket shopping, but I've *done* all that, I did it on Tuesday. I obviously need to tweak my routine. I could go to the pet shop and reclaim the catnip treats I bought and didn't take home, and I can also renew my pills. Given I've had three busy days in a row, I reckon that'll do.
