Keeping track (For forty days he fasted, then one night)

Did I tidy my room? NO! I am drowning in squalor. I got so much else done today, I am not going to be hard on myself. There are no dirty clothes lying around, at least.

Did I go to bed early last night? YES! Properly and on time. It *may* have helped that I have been handed a copy of Unseen Academics, the latest Pterry book.

Did I take my nighttime anti-migraine pills? YES! Go me.

Did I do my dawn walk? NO! I woke up at 9am, after enough sleep. Yay.

What's the weather like? Bright and brisk. A crisp autumnal day, except the wind was actually a little soft and soggy because this *is* Bolton.

Did I wash and get dressed in nice clothes? YES! No necklace but I did dress up to look nice, after a shower.

Did I do relaxation after breakfast? YES! I sat and listened to the video.

Did I go out somewhere else too? YES! I went to the local BAND drop-in, a sort of conference of nutters with lunch and some sort of class thrown in for £2.50. It should stop me turning too self-involved over the winter, and it's two minutes walk away.

Did I cook? YES! Chicken en croute with green peppercorns and peppers, with spicy cabbage and apple mix that I spiced myself. The same cabbage I had with the pork a few days ago, with added peber biri or whatever, cardamom and ginger, wrapped in foil and baked with the ready-made chicken.

Did I take my post-breakfast anti-migraine pills? YES!

Did I do anything energetic? YES! I walked to the resource centre. I cooked. I unloaded and loaded the dishwasher and ran it. I wiped all the sides and the cooker hob. I gave the cat a pill. That's all, really.

Did I use my brain? YES! I did my OU activity, filled out the brain-time with some hieroglyphs and finished up by calling social services for a needs assessment and not getting very far. What I want is a compiled list of my special needs, what I get is advice for very specific problems. Very frustrating. 'No, writing down what day it is every morning does not help my specific problem of being able to remember that *at the same time* as knowing a) when my appointment is and b) how that relates to today'.

Happy things: I am glad I went to BAND and I will go again. They do Things (the next six weeks, it's photography) rather than just sitting chatting for hours. Plus there's lunch; the people there went on and on about how good it was, and I was feeling hungry at the time...

HEALTH

Did I take painkillers? YES! Straight after the phone call to keep my head straight. I did not crawl into bed! I went out! The last few afternoon migraines have absolutely hammered me, so it was sort of nice to get one that was merely painful rather than utterly debilitating.

Did I have a migraine? See above.

Do I feel MEish? YES! Elbows this time. Neck a little.

How are my sinuses? Cruddy and blocked.

Did I sleep well? YES! I went to sleep, I woke up when the alarm went, I awoke feeling refreshed and rested and ready for the day.

PLANS

Citizen's advice bureau and probably the DLA people too. (I don't even *want* DLA, I just want help! It seems the 'easiest' way to get the help though - and that is not easy at all.)

More OU stuff.

Errands: veg shop, butcher, library, cash machine.
